PROJECT: Beach Avenue

From oceanside minimal vacation home, to a harder working home suited for a family with young kids. This home now caters to busy family life - curated storage for full time living, a kitchen for gathering, and natural materials to ground you in your environment.

We moved the laundry space upstairs in order to open up the mud room to now serve as a butlers pantry and harder working family landing space. The kitchen has been fully redesigned with a more functional floor plan, with materials inspired by the surrounding nature and gardens. The primary closets were redesigned to make better use of the space as every sq. ft of storage is valuable. What was once a 10’ long walk in closet in a guest bedroom is now split to be a cute built in nook suited for a little girl’s closet sharing a wall with what is now the small laundry room upstairs, tucked away behind beautiful french doors.
